A tight blockade has segregated Gaza towns
and villages, resulting in a disruption of many services such as education
and health. Many people in need of medical care are unable to reach Ahli
Arab hospital facilities.
In response to increased violence and
injuries in Gaza, CWS is providing $18,000 in support of the Ahli Arab
Hospital's new outreach healing program, which will address the needs of
victims of violence, especially those who live in isolated and deprived
areas of the Gaza Strip. The hospital is establishing seven new mission
outposts throughout the Gaza Strip, each of which will be able to care
for about 250 patients.
